Bernadett Patai โ€“ Professional Team Lead / Conductive Educator / DSL

“My name is Bernadett, and I am a professional Team Leader and Conductive Educator. I started working with children with different abilities when I was just 18 years old. In 2010, I earned my BA degree in Conductive Education, which is a Hungarian learning system for children and adults with neurological difficulties, using a holistic approach to develop their physical, cognitive and emotional abilities. Throughout my life,ย  I have worked with many children with special needs, and it has truly become my passion. Bumblebees is so much more than just a workplace for meโ€”itโ€™s my second family, and I treasure every moment spent here.”

Lauran Collins โ€“ Team Member/ Deputy Safeguarding Lead

“I’m Lauran, I am a SENDCo and team member for Bumblebees. I am here to help and support the children, as well as the parents and carers. I have two boys, one who has been through his own little journey with Bumblebees, and from this I knew I could help other families.ย I have worked in childcare for over 15 years and am Level 3 qualified as a special educational needs and disabilities coordinator and in Early years. ”

Sarah Evansย  โ€“ Team Member / Community Engagement Lead

Hi I’m Sarah. I’m a proud mum of three and have always loved being around children. I am actually a trained florist and ran my own business for years. My journey at Bumblebees began after seeing the incredible impact it had on a friends son- it was truly inspiring and I knew i wanted to be part of it.

At bumblebees I’m passionate about creating fun, engaging sessions that help children develop vital skills- often involving plenty of mess! (which the team love me for!) I’m committed to making every family feel welcome, supported and valued.

As the community engagement lead I also work to raise awareness and funds for our charity. I advocate for our families and help ensure Bumblebees can continue to thrive.

Working here is a true honour, and I do genuinely enjoy every minute of what I do.

Lindsay Warne โ€“ Administrator / Senior Team Member

“Iโ€™m Lindsay Administrator / Senior Team Member. I was first involved with the Charity back in 2004 as I attended with my son Max who has physical disabilities after childhood strokes.ย  Once Max went off to school I volunteered in admin and then found myself supporting the team in sessions and loved meeting and supporting children and families just like mine. Over the years I gained qualifications in Early Years and spent three weeks residential gaining knowledge about Conduction Education. I was there at the beginning of Bumblebees in 2015ย  however, in 2019 I thought a change of career would be good โ€ฆ. Boy was I wrong !! After the pandemic was over I was able to get back to working with children again. I spent 1.5 years in day nurseries which I enjoyed but something still wasnโ€™t quite right. I wanted to be doing more and the opportunity came up and so Iโ€™ve grabbed this opportunity with both hands. I am super excited to part of the Bumblebee family once again. 🐝
