What a Fantastic Summer Party! ☀️🎉
Our Summer Party was a huge success, bringing together families, staff, trustees, supporters, past families, and former committee members. It was truly heartwarming to see everyone enjoying the wonderful atmosphere at the beautiful Flint Hall in Creeting St Peter, who generously donated their stunning outdoor venue for the afternoon and kept a flow of delicious food going.
A huge shout-out to DJ Bertie Basset, who kept the good vibes flowing all afternoon with great music!
Thank you to all our amazing stallholders:

The delicious scones from Jo’s Cakes were a real hit, perfectly complemented by Roddaโs Cream and Tiptree Jam, generously supported by The Cream Tea Society.
And of course, the children had an absolute blastโplaying games, winning prizes, and trying their luck at the tombola! It was wonderful to see them coming back time and time again, full of excitement and joy throughout the afternoon.
We’re also incredibly grateful to everyone who donated raffle prizesโand a special thank you to those who bought raffle tickets. Because of your generosity throughout the summer party, we raised an impressive ยฃ2,900!
Thank you all for making it such a memorable day. We couldnโt have done it without you!

Dougie is our beautiful little boy, born in March 2024. He has a rare genetic condition that affects his development, causing complex needs and epilepsy.
Despite his challenges, Dougie is full of determination, and every small milestone he reaches is a huge achievement. One place that is making a real difference in his life is Bumblebees Childrenโs Charity. They provide specialist support for children (and their families) with complex needs, helping them to explore, play, and develop in a way that works for them.
To give back to this amazing charity, we (Dougieโs parents)โalong with some of our familyโare taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge this May. The 24-mile trek will be tough, but knowing weโre helping children like Dougie will keep us going. Any donation, big or small, will mean the world to us and will help Bumblebees continue their incredible work. Thank you!
